  7.   This program has created to save the frequently laborious task of
  8. converting data from one format to another as is often the case when
  9. moving data between different applications which do not have a common
  10. file format.
  11.  
  12.   A graphical system of marking fields makes it easy to specify how a
  13. large text file should be reformatted for input into a spreadsheet,
  14. database or stats package.
  15.  
  16.   A template of the of the marked fields is saved so that other data
  17. files can be reformatted in the same way.
